Park and Manor in Bukowiec. Their history dates back to the 14th century. The general outline of the former building is still visible, even though in its place another, much larger estate was built, becoming part of an extensive farm, located among the park bushes. At the end of the 18th century, the palace passed into the hands of an enlightened owner who gave it a specific tone and appearance.
Since then, the manor has been characterized by a neoclassical style, the park has gained new plant specimens, and the farm has gained in importance and size. After the war, the palace was the seat of an agricultural technical school, and later became the People's University, serving the unemployed. Currently, it is owned by the Association of Karkonosze Communes. Unfortunately, the farm buildings have not survived, but you can admire the wonderful English park and the structure of the palace.
In the Park and Manor in Bukowiec there is an Artistic Barn with a cafe where, in addition to delicious coffee, you can buy publications and regional souvenirs. The cafe is open from May to October every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
