Karpniki Castle is a real castle with a medieval moat, a tower guarding the entrance, a labyrinth of corridors and stairs, and castle chambers. Here you will find a real castle character and the authenticity of the place.
The neo-Gothic castle is the former summer residence of William of Prussia, the younger brother of King Frederick William III. The last reconstruction in the mid-19th century gave the building a romantic and defensive character. The castle, flooded by the waters of the moat, is surrounded by a charming landscape park. Thanks to the large amount of water, it is often possible to photograph it in the mysterious scenery of morning mists, and the multitude of shots is guaranteed by the numerous paths that can be taken around the palace from all sides.
