Sosnówka Reservoir is an artificial water storage reservoir, put into operation in 2001.
Located in the southern part of the Jelenia Góra Valley, its purpose is to supply the region with drinking water.
The reservoir has a total capacity of 14 million cubic meters and is fed by the waters of the Podgórna, Sośniak and Czerwonka streams.
Despite the original plans, which included recreational functions, swimming is currently prohibited there due to the reservoir's primary purpose.
