Dziki Wodospad, located near the lower station of the cable car to Kopa, was created as a result of damming the waters of the Łomnica River.
The beginning of Łomnica is located at an altitude of 1,407 m above sea level. Its spring area is Wielki Staw and Mały Staw. Łomnica is characterized by a huge drop in water (especially in the upper reaches), where the difference in elevation is 927 meters (source 1407 m above sea level, mouth 480 m above sea level). In the town of Łomnica, the river flows into the Bóbr River, forming its left tributary. The Łomnica catchment area has an area of approximately 118 km2 and its length is approximately 19 km.
