The history of the pharmacy begins in 1913. Just after World War II, the tenant of the "Pod Białym Orłem" pharmacy was M. Pharm. Karol Czerny.
In the early 1950s, the pharmacy came under the care of the Wrocław Management Board. In 1990, it was bought by pharmacists Grażyna and Wojciech Piotrowski. The owners gave it a new name "Pod Złotą Waga" and it still operates today. Many tourists admire its old decoration. Its original wall furniture with marble countertops is entered in the register of monuments. After the privatization of the pharmacy, its original appearance was partially restored. In the window of the expedition room there is an authentic stained glass window with a stylized snake Aesculapius winding around the chalice. The expedition room houses an exhibition of old glass and apothecary equipment.
