On the site of today's "Bachus" at Konstytucji 3 Maja Street, there was a court inn from 1602, which was owned by the Exner family throughout the 18th century.
Courts were held here and disputes between village residents were resolved. At the end of the 18th century, the first tourists hiking to Śnieżka began to visit the inn. The currently existing building of the court inn, today's "Bachus", was built in 1836. On its front there are interesting wooden bas-reliefs depicting the mayor and a monk holding a mug of Karkonosze beer.
