Bicycle trip suggestions

ROUTE 1 We leave the city center, go to Kopernika Street and pass the Museum of Sports and Tourism. Then we turn right into Obrońców Pokoju Street. It is an asphalt road towards Osiedle Skalne and Wilcza Poręba. Behind the Relaks hotel, turn right into Wilcza Street and follow it until the end of the asphalt road. From here we follow the green tourist trail towards Budniki and further (a forest road with gravel) to the Okraj pass. After conquering the pass (1046 m above sea level), it is possible to cross the state border. However, if you want to continue along the route, take the asphalt road to the parking lot at Rozdroże pod Sulicą. After a short rest, following the yellow trail, we go to Przełęcz Kowarska, from which we take an asphalt road towards Kowary and then Krzaczyna (Kowary district). After crossing the railway crossing, turn left and, after reaching the green signs, go to Karpacz (Skane estate) and further to the city center. Route length approx. 25 km.

ROUTE 2 After leaving the city center, we drive along the asphalt road towards Wilcza Poręba. After finding the green trail and following it for about 200 meters, we enter the forest. Still following the green signs, we head towards Budniki. Along the way, it is worth paying attention to the beautiful views offered by the Jelenia Góra Valley. In Budniki we meet the yellow trail, which takes us down towards Kowary - Krzaczyna (here, after 300 m, you have to bring your bike due to the difficulty of the route). After reaching the Jedlinki forester's lodge, we turn left to follow the green trail again to Karpacz - Osiedle Skalne, and then to the center. Route length approx. 15 km.

ROUTE 3 From the city center we turn into ul. Kościelna and then into Poznańska. After reaching ul. Myśliwska (green trail) turn left again. When we reach the intersection of trails, we choose the red trail, which takes us to Polana Śródleśna. There we turn right towards Grabowiec (784 m above sea level) - a wonderful viewpoint of the Karkonosze Mountains and the Jelenia Góra Valley). Returning to Polana, we go towards the chapel of St. Anna. Behind the chapel, we go towards the village of Miłków, which we cross to reach the road from Karpacz to Jelenia Góra along a road leading among fields and meadows. After crossing the bridge over the Łomnica River, we go along the asphalt road towards Ściegien and further to the Skalne estate. Then ul. Defenders of Peace we head towards the center of Karpacz. The route is approximately 15 km long.

ROUTE 4 We start from the "Bachus" DW (the old Court Inn). Here we take the Kościelna and Nadrzeczna streets (next to the new blocks of flats) to Kolejowa Street (turn left). We drive to the end and then turn right. We now go along the gravel road to the village of Miłków (the slope of Mount Strzelec). In Miłków, before the stud farm and the historic palace complex, we turn left. Among the fields we reach the road connecting the village of Miłków with Sosnówka - we go towards Sosnówka. After driving about 300 m, we reach the village of Głębock, where we meet the red trail (turn right). We follow this trail to Mysłakowice, passing stylish Tyrolean houses along the way. After reaching the church and palace, we drive through the historic park towards the Mysłakowice railway station, from where we go towards ZPL "Orzeł" (one of the oldest linen industry plants). After passing them, we head towards Karpacz. Route length approx. 22 km.

ROUTE 5 From the church in the city center, we take the asphalt road to the right towards Wilcza Poręba, from where we follow the yellow trail signs to the concrete bridge over Łomniczka. After the recreation area, we turn right into the unmarked road, which takes us to the "Irena" DW, where we turn left. Now, following the forest path, we reach the "Orlinek" ski jump and the "Orlinek" mountain hotel. Behind the hotel, we turn left onto the red trail, which takes us to the shelter on the Łomniczka River. Return by the same route to the hotel. Then we go towards Karpacz Górny. After reaching the main road, turn right. We drive for about 300 m and then turn left, this time, into ul. Firefighter, which takes us to ul. Myśliwska (green trail). We go down to ul. Poznańska and then ul. Kościelna, next to the old Court Inn (currently DW "Bachus"), we reach the city center. The length of the route is approx. 17 km.

ROUTE 6 The beginning of the route is the city center near DW "Bachus". We head towards ul. M. Copernicus, we pass the Museum of Sports and Tourism. Then we turn right towards Wilcza Poręba. After reaching the intersection of the yellow and green trails, we continue along these colors. We reach the edge of the forest (end of the asphalt) and take the forest road, from which we turn onto the green trail. Now, reaching the next "crossroads", we choose the black trail and head towards the Owl Valley (this is the most difficult section of our trip). After reaching the shelter, turn left. The further ride takes place along a horizontal path, which takes us to the green trail, which we take down to the black trail. Passing Krucze Skały, we get to Obrońców Pokoju Street, which leads to the city center. Route length approx. 10 km.
