In the upper section, the average water drop is 72 per mille, in the lower section it is seven times lower. As part of the great flood prevention program in 1910-1915, the riverbed was regulated and built-up in many sections. Debris barriers were erected. One of them created a picturesque reservoir and a waterfall attractive to tourists. The effectiveness of the dam was confirmed during the "Flood of the Millennium" in 1997.
