The shelter on Stog Izerski, established on the initiative of Joseph Sebelt and financed by the Schaffgotsch family, dates back to 1924. Despite its modernity, the emphasis is on tradition, which can be considered the pride of the center. According to the owners, the interior has been modernized, while maintaining its original character, highlighted by Silesian-Lusatian architecture.
Inside the mountain hut you will find 10 rooms that can accommodate from 2 to 10 guests, with full sanitary equipment as standard. The kitchen combined with the buffet serves local specialties every day, prepared according to home recipes. Near the shelter there is also a border crossing with the Czech Republic - Smrk - the most famous hill of the Jizera Mountains, which is also worth visiting, if only because of the amazing views along the way.
