Zakręt Śmierci is a section of the road from Szklarska Poręba to Świeradów, built at the turn of 1935 and 1937. This extremely dangerous and sharp turn is also a viewing point over the Jelenia Góra Valley. Many accidents have happened here in the past, so you need to be careful.

Near the bend, on the forested hills, there are many rocks worth seeing and a viewpoint, also here are the beginnings of several Sudetes tourist trails.
